[fic] The Simple Life - Chapter 6 -

Author: Me >w<

Pairing: Akame / ??/Kame (for now)

Rating: NC – 17

Genre: Romance, Humour, Action (Violence)

Disclaimer : The story is inspired from the drama Last Friends (just a little ) and part of a conversation I had with those pervy Kame addicts: P. The characters are not mine.

Summary: Everyone always tries to hide his true personality. When someone is vulnerable it’s better to wear a mask, to play and overplay, just to prove that everything is fine. This is an encounter between two souls, a man without real purpose and another one whose life is already mapped out.

A.N.: Some scenes may upset and shock you. Violence, rape /cough/ I apologize in advance. I hope you'll like it! Thx to the fabulous
[info]gal_ps for translating this for me! *huggles*.

Chapter 6

Kazuya’s puffy eyes scanned the dark walls of the room. He was still spread on the bed he shared with Takki, knowing clearly that he would be unable to work if he wasn’t sleeping properly. He felt the emptiness next to him in the spacious bed on which he used only a tiny bit of space. While the young man got up, he couldn’t suppress the quiet sigh of pain from the many blue marks decorating his stomach. He had fallen asleep half dressed, and his unbuttoned jeans almost fell down while he got up. He walked slowly towards the bathroom, which was adjoined to the bedroom. A hot shower was still the only way he had to feel himself clean, clean after all he suffered the night before. Taking clean overalls and a t-shirt, he entered the still misty room, preparing himself for a new day which, oddly he found little enchanting.

He yawned for the umpteenth time this morning and wondered when he would finally get used to the rooster from hell. Jin was sprawled next to the large table in the lounge where Takki had decided to have breakfast. He was just beginning to deal with slices of fresh bread while humming. He turned occasionally towards Jin, always smiling and getting the same bright smile in return from Jin. Today he was going to be with Takki and everything would be fine, although Jin secretly hoped that Takki was not like the second young man, and wouldn’t shake him up. While Takki approached him with a large plate, he could only smile, thanking him for having prepared such a nice breakfast.

"Today, I will simply explain the operation of machinery that you would probably use. Because you're a novice, I'd make you do simple tasks, so don’t worry!" began the older one. Jin felt how little by little his anxiety was gradually reducing, seeing that at least someone here understand that he knew nothing yet.

"Also, I'd do a little summary of tasks you have to perform daily. Oh, and how was your day yesterday?" offered Takki by placing his hands behind his head. Jin lost his smile. Should he tell him that apparently his "companion" (at least as Jin though Kazuya was Takki’s partner) didn’t like him?

"Everything went well, but I havent done much, the shoes made the task rather difficult." replied Jin without a sigh. He was an awful liar, but this one lie was taken for truth. Oddly enough he wouldn’t feel like to "spill out the beans" for the youngest. What he could say anyway? "The other man was nasty to JinJin? Jin smiled at that thought, feeling as he was falling back in childhood. Takki merely nodded in approval and then dived his nose in the newspaper that was placed near the cream cup.

Jin blew one last time his caffee, before drinking a little bit from the hazel liquid.

When Kazuya arrived he was surprised to see the two young men drinking their coffee in the lounge, and he couldnt help being surpprised seeing that Takki had everything ready. He slowed down, falsely glad that he was sitting next to Takki and then murmured a brief "hello" to the two others who did not seem bothered by his shyness.

Takki served him coffee with a smile.

"Kazu, today I’ll take care of Jin, and I'd give him a great tour for showing him all our machines."

Kazuya raised his head and found himself face to face with the eyes of Jin who seemed expecting an answer. He looked neither angry nor calm, just neutral. He was satisfied just to watch Takki, then he nodded while returning to his coffee. He didnt know how to react, Takki actted as someone who believed the non existent happiness was just showing that Jin couldnt bring anything good. He preferred to avoid any reaction that might show his disgust and forced himself to drink the hot coffee in his blue cup, and felt the coffee burning his throat. After a while, Takki stood up and laid his hand on Kazuya’s shoulder, while caressing it.

"I'll start with Jin so take your time. You’re ready Jin?" When he saw the acquiescing of latter one, he walked towards him and pulled a pair of boots while asking Jin if he had put another pair of socks just to avoid accidents. After the door was slammed, Kazuya sank into his chair and put his hand on the shoulder where Takki had put earlier his hand. Sensing the anger rising in him, he could only rub it until he can feel no more the heat from the hand of his companion.

"Jin Jin .. Not that way No, come back! Don’t stop here!" Takki hollerred in the not yet cultivated properly midfield. He did everything he could to be patient even if he knew he was maybe the most impatient person in the world. Jin was like a child who was learning how to ride a bike. He needed a lot of time. When Jin finally came to master the big tractor, Takki thought he would jump from joy.

"Dont forget to loosen the roots slightly before planting them" Breathed out Takki to the young man who has persisted to sink roots in a hole too small for the young cherry. "If I tell you this, it’s because we must regularly take a walk around the plants to see if everything goes well, sometimes there can be insects that harm the trees, sometimes the earth makes plants ill. It will require attention just not to leave too much of their life here." Takki offered a warm smile to Jin and the later knew that he would do his best to help the farmer.

Kazuya felt oddly bad today. Aside from the fact that he had practically a broken rib, he couldn’t do his job properly. He often crossed Jin and Takki. Obviously they went along well together and for a moment Kazuya was afraid that Takki would turn Jin into something like himself. He laughed at what Jin could think of him, but the prospect of having two Takki at home made him shiver. He went back to the two employees who were coming today and did his best to change his ideas.

The end of the day was tough for everybody, for having made so little work yesterday, they had to do everything today and when Jin came to the house that night, he thought he would fall from exhaustion.

"Jin, your jacket?" Takki shook him a little to awake him. He jumped. Damn, he had forgotten it outside, why this always happens on him? He rushed toward the barn while repeating the words "eat sleep" in his mind when he crossed Kazuya sitting near his clothes.

He ran towards it and took the jacket, stopping just in front of a thoughtful Kazuya. He tried to leave but his legs didn’t move, controlled like from a second conscience. He turned.

"I wanted .. to apologize for last night .. I have been rude and violent, and I regret it" He bowed slightly.

"Don’t worry, I’ll survive." replied the younger without removing his look from the sky.

Jin really hated himself right now. Kazuya looked so fragile and he had looked like a dead leaf against the wall, just because his pride had took a blow.

"I still want to apologize if I've hurt you.. I, I really dont want you to hate me, and I would make efforts to not disappoint you, although obviously we have started badly." He bent over quickly with a chuckle that he believed he had seen on the face of the youngest.

While Takki went to see where was Jin he saw the sight of a smiling Kazuya. Thinking that it would be better to return to home before doing something stupid, he left as quickly as he came, divided between the desire to laugh and to cry.

"Well, I'll go, time is ticking." Jin whispered as he held his jacket. Kazuya shook his head slowly and peered into the sky again, so absorbed by the blackness in the beginning of Autumn.

Jin ran to the entrance with the only one desire, SLEEP.

Kazuya had not felt the hand that pulled him back, or the presence of the farmer behind him. He let himself been dragged into to the barn, he knew so well. Takki pushed him inside while Kazuya stumbled and felt the handle of the rake bump in him over the bruises, witnessing the brutal activity of the night before. At this moment, Kazuya wondered if Takki would actually kill him.

Do you find this amusing?" whispered Takki

Kazu had taken the habit of not responding. After all whatever he said, it wouldn’t change anything Takki was going to do to him, so it was better to keep his mouth shut.

"He is here for two days already and you ... you disgust me" Kazuya raised his head. What was he talking about? About Jin? He acted as if he wasn’t there, so it was hard to understand.

"Stop turn around him, Kazuya. Stop! Stop looking for him like that, what do you expect after all, that he’ll become your prince charming? What do you think you’ll tell him? That you're a young man deprived from his youth? When he sees the real you, he would have the desire just to escape, you’ll disgust him, just as you disgust me every day. "Takki began laughing as if to emphasize his words. Kazuya honestly didn’t know why he did it, but recovering from a stroke he had gone to the oldest and gave him a slap. He hit so hard that he thought he had exhausted his remaining strength.

"Don’t ever repeat ….that I'm disgusting." He trembled all over, and his voice was unbelievably hoarse, but that moment, he felt so much emotion welling up inside him that could slap anyone. Takki was surprised from what had happened, and strangely there was only surprise written on his face.

"You made me ... like this ... and you make sure that I should hunt away everyone around me, you-"

Takki didn’t let him finish, the slap that Kazuya had received in return made him completely fall to the ground with his head down.

"I would say as many times as it is necessary to ensure that you understand. Nobody wants you, whatever you do, and with all the goodwill of the world Kazuya, you're nothing, you have always been here just to spread your legs, and I must say that there is noone better than you ... " Takki was still smiling, triumphant, powerful.

"No... you lie .." Kazuya was trying to articulate, moving, anything that could show he couldn’t do it more. He had exhausted his last reserves; he didn’t want more from this anymore.

"Kazuya, I am the only person who still wants you, so don’t try to stick to the first that come by, because in end you will discover that nobody cares about you. But I am here, so don’t worry." Takki lowered himself to his level and he took the chin of the younger between his thumb and forefinger. Kazuya's eyes were closed and he had difficulty in breathing, due to not only his health condition but also due to his mental state. If only he could disappear at this very moment. Takki was right after all, who wants a worn body, so thin and engraved with wounds and a character like his. It was not like Kazuya sought refuge, but secretly, when Takki kissed his bootom lip, a tear fell and he wondered if anyone ever would give him a hand and bring him back on his feet.
