[fic] The Simple Life -Prologue & Chapter 1-

Author: Me :P

Pairing: Akame / ??/Kame

Rating: NC – 17

Genre: Romance, Humour, Action (Violence)

Disclaimer : The story is inspired from the drama Last Friends (just a little bit ) and part of a conversation I had with those that are perverse Kame addicts: P. The characters are not mine.

Summary: Everyone always tries to hide his true personality. When someone is vulnerable it’s better to wear a mask, to play and overplay, just to prove that everything is fine. This is an encounter between two souls, a man without real purpose and another one whose life is already mapped out.

A.N.: Some scenes may upset and shock you. Violence, rape /cough/ I apologize in advance. Since the prologue is very short, i decided to post the first chapter too. I hope you'll like it! Thx to the fabulous gal_ps for translating this for me! *huggles*

The night had fell a long ago. The sound of leaves rubbing gravel was heard louder as the wind rose. The faint light diffused by the moon revealed two shadows against a barn wall. Sighs and grunts. Then a slamming, strong, clear, painful.

"Stop moving"

While the grunting stopped a little sob was heard.

"I've told you to shut up!"

Another slam. Only one of the two shadows was moving, the other one remaining immobile, lifeless in a more than doubtful position. The grunts became louder while a few sobs were heard from time to time, leaving a place for a series of cracking with growing violence and force. While a long groan echoed from the dark walls of the huge barn, the wind stopped, leaving the leaves in their place, just like the shadow that was elongated on the wall didn’t move, while the first one went away, straight, proud , almost smiling.

"This is the only thing you’re good at Kazuya." said the shadow, entering the house facing the barn.

Lying covered with blood and tears, the little shadow curled up, wondering if he would indeed be a leaf, a dead leaf, but a free leaf.

Chapter 1

"Jin for God's sake, get up!!" screamed a young woman downstairs.

Just as usual morning as every day ones. Another one. The sun was gently rising, leaving the feeling for a great sunny day despite the clouds that hid too much of the rays over the city of Tokyo.

"Your father comes back home today! Come on!!" screamed again the young woman. She wore a green apron with embroidery saying "The best woman in the world ".

The sun had not yet appeared in the room the young man, who seemed to sleep soundly despite the yelling of the woman downstairs. A groan was heard when the body hidden under the pile of blankets moved. The alarm went off immediately and startled the young man. “Another beautiful day" he murmured.

The Akanishi family was more or less a normal one. They lived in a fairly posh area of Tokyo and the father, Shin Akanishi was vice president in a major advertising firm. His wife, Hibari Akanishi was a typical housewife. Their two children, Jin and Reio were both students. Each morning, the routine was repeating itself, without ever changing. Jin - the eldest son was yelled at, but he never woke up before the ringing of his alarm clock. Reio, mocked him before leaving out for lectures.

The young woman was about to climb up when the so called Jin came down, his hair disheveled, closed eyes and pouting lips. The young man was apparently rather robust and his skin was lightly tanned. He was tall and was fairly large build. "Just like his father" his mother liked to tell. His brown eyes had the same color as his hair, but were rather deformed at this time of the day.

"Ah, ba not so fast. Climb up to wash and come down quickly, your father should come any moment or so" she said in a good-humored tone.

The young man went up, with shattered mood. His father had gone for a convention in Sao Paulo and was due to return today. Before departure he announced he had some great news for his "stupid son" Jin. The young man combed his hair, jumped in the shower afterward, and grabbed the toothpaste. Once back down, he was greeted by the murderous look of the one he affectionately called "mama".

"Hello my son, did you sleep well? Yes very well mammy, and you? Oh very well, thank you my dear. "his mother began with sarcasm. Jin looked up. He uttered a weak "hello" before continuing with his coffee, probably still locked in a sleep that was much too hard to leave this morning.

When his father finally arrived, he merely shook slightly his head. Unlike the usual times, today he could not escape it because firstly his father demanded talking to him and secondly he was curious and wondered what the conversation would be about. With any luck he would have had a paid trip to Hawaii.

"Hello my darling!" Hibari exclaimed with a smile stretching from ear to ear. She prepared a cup of steaming coffee and gave it to him, as he sat. He puffed a little when he felt the nimble fingers of his wonderful wife massaging his shoulders with a slight pressure. Jin watched the scene from the corner of his eye and stammered a little "get a room" while averting his gaze. His mother blushed at once while his father had a look of satisfaction on his face. Jin stared at him. He did not like the look, the last time his father was looking like that, he had announced he was sending him in a correction house, the day of his 15th birthday. Jin coughed; there was really a little chance to be sent back there when he was about 24 years old. He decided to speak; feeling the urge to return to his bed was becoming increasingly urgent.

"So, spit it out, what is your wonderful idea this time?" he said with a bitter smile.

His father looked up and stared at him. He put his cup of coffee and then took a deep breath. A small grin appeared on his face.

"I see that you remember ..."

"Well, your mother and I discussed it before I left and ..."

Jin stared at him, twisting his head slightly on the side. Their story became increasingly suspicious.

"We decided to send you ..."

Jin held his breath; his father hadn’t still become so stupid to want to send him back in a reformatory …

"... to a farm."

Jin thought he would fall off his chair.

Hahahahahaha!! A farm? Well, at least it's better than many other places I could think of.
I liked Jin's character here which sounds very interesting.
I felt bad about Kazu who seems top be having it rough!

Thanks a lot for writing this fic!! I enjoyed it so far!
